"Yous're a Superstar" is a song by Canadian Eurodance group Dearest Inc. It was released in June 1998 as the 2nd single from the album Love Inc., after "Broken Bones." "Y'all're a Superstar" was Dear Inc.'due south biggest hitting, peaking at number thirteen on the Canadian RPM Summit Singles chart and number one on the RPM Dance Chart. Information technology also peaked at number eight in Espana and number 23 in the Netherlands.
In the Great britain, the song was a commercial failure during its original release in 2000, simply two years later, the song was rereleased and peaked at number seven for iv weeks in December 2002 and January 2003. In Scotland, the vocal reached number two in early on January 2003. Its success in the U.k. allowed the song to receive a gilt certification from the British Phonographic Manufacture in 2021 for sales and streams exceeding 400,000.
In 2020, the song was used as a lipsync number in the beginning season finale episode of Canada's Drag Race, which was won past Priyanka.[1] In the aforementioned yr, Love Inc.'southward Simone Denny appeared on CBC Television's annual New Year's Eve special, performing the vocal as part of Tyler Shaw's gear up.[2]
